History

The Texas All American Bar was designed early 2018 and is already a hit! This bar fills a void and is very versatile. Crafted from the same starting shaft as The Texas Power Bar it has the same strength and durability as our original bar. With center knurl to help when your squatting. 32” hand space rings for power type training and 36” hand space ring for cross training. The knurling is less aggressive than the Texas Power Bar. Simply the best all around gym bar available.

Center knurl

When I started lifting weights with Olympic bars back in the 1960’s, I noticed that there was hardly any grip. The knurling on these bars was so light when the bars were new, that now years later they were almost slick. The sleeves were held on to the bar with a threaded end cap and the inside collars were held in place with a set screw. Each sleeve consisted of three pieces.

The Goal was to create a bar that would have and keep a better knurled grip. A bar, whose sleeves wouldn’t slide in to the center. A maintenance free bar.

Proudly Made in the USA Since 1980. The shafts are center less ground, demagnetized and oiled to the max before shipping to Texas. Once at our production facility, we machine and then knurl each shaft to create a grip that is still the best in the industry. Texas Power Bars have different finishes available including black zinc and chrome plating.The sleeves are are available raw or chrome plated.

My first Texas bar, and it is pretty amazing! The knurling is perfect not too sharp, just perfect! Highly recommend for doing lifts where space is an issue or for getting your kids involved as well being 22 lbs.

I love this bar, the knurl is awesome and aggressive and the bar is slim so my hands fit around it!! Love it!!!!

INCREDIBLE bar for women or those just starting out

100% satisfied with the 22 lb bar I purchased from TPB. My wife has taken an interest in strength training and was too weak for the 45 lb bar for many lifts. This worked like a charm! Even convinced me to upgrade my bar to one from Texas Power Bars! Love that one too!

Just what my son and I needed

The Texas All American Bar 22 is spectacular. It doesn't take up all the room a normal bar would and my son can lift it while adding small 1/2 pound weights (he's 12 so not able to handle full size yet). Oh yeah... it also can handle two 45 bumpers on each side with a little bit of room to spare. In short, it's nice to look at, the grip is fantastic and we love it!
