The Texas Bench Bar was created for the big bench pressers. This bar will stay straight with big weight on it without feeling too big in your hands. The least amount of flex equals the shortest distance of travel from top of lift, to chest and back again. The Texas Bench Bar is the standard bench bar in the APC.
The Goal was to create a bar that would have and keep a better knurled grip. A bar, whose sleeves wouldn’t slide in to the center. A maintenance free bar.

We bought the Bench bar for an upcoming meet. It is by far my favorite bar to bench with. It feels more stable in our hands. The knurling is great. The bar also was delivered within a week of our order.
Bought myself a bench press bar and I love love it! I'm 54 and feel like I'm 24!!! Great feel, great knurled love the bar!
I’ve only put hands on two barbells with the title power bar and they are The Ohio power bar and the Texas power bar. I purchased the Texas power bar and the Ohio power bar I use at the commercial gym. Both are excellent bars but I do prefer the version of the Texas power bar I purchased because the knurling is more aggressive and it is a thicker bar and in my opinion is a better quality. I did purchase the Texas power bench bar and maybe that is why it seems better quality because it is beefy at 55 pounds.
I have a Texas power bar, deadlift bar, and bench bar, best bars I have in my home gym.
You don't notice the difference it makes until you try it. A friend suggested I get a bench bar for my gym, and its one of the best purchases I've made so far. Everything about this bar is exceptional. My members really appreciate having specific equipment for specific tasks and this bar is in constant use throughout the day. Huge fan of the knurling, it just feels tight in your hands.
