I ordered a blemished original power bar and I knew I was going to receive whatever random finish was available but I genuinely couldn’t figure out what made the particular bar I received “blemished” beside the marking on the shipping tube. The knurling, finish, everything was spot on. I had my girlfriend help me look for any potential issues in the driveway - broad daylight - no scratches, no oxidation, no inconsistencies, maybe the tube was mislabeled but I saved a few dollars and got a killer bar. Love the aggressive knurling, such great feel in the hands. This is my first personal barbell and even if there were noticeable cosmetic problems (which I was expecting) the quality would’ve completely offset whatever impression those hypothetical issues would’ve made, no bs. If I ever feel the need to grow my inventory of bars I’m buying more Texas brand bars, won’t even entertain other industry alternatives.

Hands down the best bar I've used for bench press! I will forever buy a Texas power bar overtime i need a new bench bar (that is if I need a new one) I love my bar!

Excellent bar, quick shipping which helped when I was putting together a powerlifting gym in my spare bedroom at the last minute lol. Great bar for bigger guys like me who have some shoulder injuries and can't squat with a PowerBar without your shoulder being f***Ed for a week.

Initially purchased to complement my Rogue Ohio Bar. After a couple of training, it is now my go to bar! I picked the tungsten high end latest breed. I highly recommend this bar to all serious strength athletes grinding alone in their garage or basement. Rated 10/10.

This bar is perfect for starting strength training for a 76 year old guy with an arthritic back. I can move up slowly and carefully to more weights and hopefully a heavier bar when I can gain strength in my back and leg muscles.

The bar knurling is super aggressive and sticks to my hands and back great! The finishing is well done and has good tolerances making it fairly quiet.

Really should have picked up this bar sooner. I would have been happier earlier. Another great bar for my tool box. If your doing deadlifts more than 4x a month you need this bar. I was just doing deadlifts 4x a month just to maintain. Now i'm doing them 2x a week because it feels better doing them. I was using the original TPB like an adjustable wrench, sloppy but it was getting the job done. Now it's like i bought a full set of standard and metric wrenches and i have the right tool for the job now. I had worked out with other deadlift bars but never thought wow i can justify this until i was out of town to catch up with old friends and one of them had a garage gym and we got into talking and was invited to workout and the next thing you know I ordered 1.

Beautiful crafted, perfectly straight, and exactly 44.0 lbs out of the box. Aggressive knurling is just right for heavy pulling and pressing. Collars are very tight, no jiggling.

I was AMAZED with how fast this bar came!! I ordered the pink color, and it looked even more beautiful in person. I am extremely happy with the quality. The knurling could be a bit sharper, but I personally do not have any issues with grip so it’s not a problem for me!
