Texas All American Bar

I debated for a while between a Castro bar (a raw steel Ohio) and this All American bar. I wanted 28.5mm, raw steel, and medium knurling for the big three plus low rep power cleans, mil presses, etc. The deciding factor was that the AA has center knurl and cooler end covers. Plus IMO Capps is a brand more aligned with the companies I want to support. The bar arrived very quickly and securely, and I love it. On big three lifts the knurl just locks in and I don't think about it. On lower rep olympic style stuff, you'll feel the knurl and know it's there but it's not cut-you aggressive. I'd say it's a great balance and is especially fitting for a multi-purpose bar. They nailed it!

Great versatile bar for my garage gym. I needed to replace a bent, low quality bar for squats and benches. The knurling is perfect- not to aggressive, but hands can still get sweaty and hold a good grip.

This barbell is very nice! Stainless steel all the way! Awesome grip for me but my wife needs to wear gloves. I don't want her getiing callused.

Barbells have great grip and have been a great all-purpose bar for both olympic and traditional lifts.

Bought this for my daughter as a Christmas gift. She is a personal trainer, and she says it is hands down the best bar she has ever worked out with! And as a veteran, she loves that it is American made!
