I bought this bar for my 14 year old son. He had an olympic bar from Dicks.Im not sure what brand it was but he bent it so I am just trying to keep him safe the best I can. He loves the knurling on this bar and a little more room for plates.

Picked up my first @texaspowerbars chrome deadlift bar and this thing came ready to work.
Packaging was solid. No damage. No scratches. The chrome finish is clean, sharp, and looks exactly how a serious bar should.
Now the knurling.
This is not polite knurling.
This is a grip that means business.

I am extremely happy with it and I’m honestly frustrated I wasted time and money on lesser bars before this. This bar is a true multipurpose bar with the right amount of spin for Bench/Press (it does NOT cause your wrists to shift like other bar with too much spin) and Power (or Hang) Cleans.
You always hear that investing in a quality barbell matters more than almost anything else in a home gym, and I used to brush that off. Not anymore. From the knurling to the sleeves, this bar feels just right! I wish I had been more patient and deliberate in picking a barbell rather than settling for what I thought was “good enough.”
It’s not about price either. My previous bar actually cost about $100 more—but the build quality just can’t compete. A lot of brands outsource production, and while they maintain standards, there’s something about in-house (Made in the USA) manufacturing that just elevates this bar. Don’t second guess it or over think it - if you’re considering the bar. Buy it!!! You won’t regret it!!!!
I was going back and forth on if I should purchase this bar. After watching many videos of how this bar helped folks break their deadlift PR's, I decided to make the purchase. It looks like the website was updated since I made the purchase, because the previous picture of the purple cerakote did not look very "purply". Purple is one of my favorite colors and have wanted a bar in that color for a while now. I was blown away at how "purply" this purple was, haha. It's such a joy to walk by it and gaze on the purple goodness. The bar performs as expected and has the best flex of any deadlift bar I have tried. I'm so glad I didn't wait any longer to make this purchase!
I purchased the Texas Deadlift bar a few years back. I loved it. The Texas Fat Bar is even better.
I love the 2” Fat Axle Piwer Bar, it really taxes the grip on the disciplines I use it on, I cant imagine having one without sleeves that spin. Great Job Texas Power Bars.
Everything was great great deal and the blemish was nothing. Took me 10 min to even find. My only wish is if there was a better description on exactly what bar I was getting as I'm still not 100% witch one I got. I do competitive power lifting and this was my first bar to build out a home gym and I'm not 100% what I can put this bar through.

What a great bar. It looks awesome and performs great. So far, I’m benching and doing Zercher squats with it. I also do a couple of max rep sets of conventional deadlifts to improve my grip. I love it.
Love the bar. When first setting up the garage gym, I purchased a Cap barbell 28.5 mm. Hesitant at first on getting the power bar because of the price. But finally got it, and it was well worth it. The medium knurling is perfect, compared to other bars I have used in commercial gyms. The triple knurl marks feel great for orientating hand position where I need them. Overall highly recommend.

Awesome bar! Love the aggressive knurling and general fit and finish. The grab bag aspect of the blem and close out bars are cool too. I ended up with a very handsome black zinc and chrome collared example. I’ll be getting another TPB in the future. If you’re on the fence BUY BAR!
