Texas All American Bar 22

I bought this bar to introduce my son to weightlifting. It's smaller size and weight is great for him. The knurling is effective, but not too sharp. It is shorter and thinner than a normal barbell, but still fits in a rack. It also has enough loadable sleeve length to accommodate the amount of weights a kid will realistically need before he's ready for a full-size bar. This is the best barbell available for kids that I've found and would highly recommend it for kids.

Got this bar for my kids and wife, and it's awesome. The lighter weight is perfect for my 11 year old, and its form factor fits my rack and standard weights just like a standard bar. By necessity, the sleeves are a little short, but once you max those out you should be moving up to a standard bar anyways.

Perfect size for a female novice lifter

My first Texas bar, and it is pretty amazing! The knurling is perfect not too sharp, just perfect! Highly recommend for doing lifts where space is an issue or for getting your kids involved as well being 22 lbs.
