29mm Texas Power Bar - PROTOTYPE SLEEVES

I bought this bar to have a second Texas and I am so glad I did. Not only does it feel great working out with it, I am not complaining on how it feels in my hands. Texas powerbars are the real deal bars I started training with 30 years ago and 10 years ago was the first bar I sought after to be my first real bar in my home gym. Working out with other bars it’s hit or miss and to be honest, I’m not made of money so I really want to make certain purchases count. I have had the pleasure of working out with other bars and while some are nice, the real reason I keep looking at the Buddy Capps is the knurling, reliability and how easy they are to break down and clean. My next bar will be a true dead lift bar as the more weight I put on the more the center knurl is showing its nature and sometimes mine.

Texas bars have a long track record of being the best, the prototype collars didnt fail love how much space there is for plates and the grip. Can’t beat these bars

Outstanding grip. Love the knurling. Only small issue i have noticed is when doing curls or lighter weight the bearings have resistance and don't freely spin like my Colorado bar. Other than that, its perfect for my bench squat and deadlift needs.

Sturdy, great knurling. If youre a serious heavy lifter you want this bar.

Absolute game changer. I had a REP Fitness barbell more geared towards Olympic lifting and a more all-purpose bar with a passive knurl. This bar’s aggressive knurling and overall solid feel helped me immediately hit a PB on my bench day 1. No slippage, just complete confidence throughout. Will probably never touch my other barbell again.
