29mm Texas Power Bar - PROTOTYPE SLEEVES

I love my power bar great knurling very sharp shipped really fast

Needed a new bar for the garage gym after the previous 28.5mm Amazon bar would bend during heavy pressing movements, and it was slipping out of my hands during sweaty workouts. Researched bars for weeks and learned a lot about the different thicknesses, grips, bar strength, and place of origin. I definitely didn’t something made in china that other big named companies seemed to use. Go USA! I decided after reading all the reviews I’d get this prototype sleeve version over the Ohio Power Bar. This is my first Texas power bar and it is impressive! Awesome grip that sticks to my hands. My sons and I could go heavy feeling confident we wouldn’t drop the bar and it wouldn’t bend. We liked the bar so much I got a Texas deadlift bar for deadlift day, and they pulled PRs the first workout using it. Best bars I’ve used in my 30 years of lifting.

I bought this bar to have a second Texas and I am so glad I did. Not only does it feel great working out with it, I am not complaining on how it feels in my hands. Texas powerbars are the real deal bars I started training with 30 years ago and 10 years ago was the first bar I sought after to be my first real bar in my home gym. Working out with other bars it’s hit or miss and to be honest, I’m not made of money so I really want to make certain purchases count. I have had the pleasure of working out with other bars and while some are nice, the real reason I keep looking at the Buddy Capps is the knurling, reliability and how easy they are to break down and clean. My next bar will be a true dead lift bar as the more weight I put on the more the center knurl is showing its nature and sometimes mine.

Texas bars have a long track record of being the best, the prototype collars didnt fail love how much space there is for plates and the grip. Can’t beat these bars

Outstanding grip. Love the knurling. Only small issue i have noticed is when doing curls or lighter weight the bearings have resistance and don't freely spin like my Colorado bar. Other than that, its perfect for my bench squat and deadlift needs.
