History
The Texas All American Bar was designed early 2018 and is already a hit! This bar fills a void and is very versatile. Crafted from the same starting shaft as The Texas Power Bar it has the same strength and durability as our original bar. With center knurl to help when your squatting. 32” hand space rings for power type training and 36” hand space ring for cross training. The knurling is less aggressive than the Texas Power Bar. Simply the best all around gym bar available.

So I ordered the All American Bar. Pulled it out of the tube and as soon as I felt the knurl as it was halfway out of the tube I was really impressed with it. Once it was out I realized it was the Original Power Bar. Well I'm glad it was because I'm positive would prefer this knurling over the All American. My only regret was having sent an embarrassingly wrong picture when I sent a pic just to point out the mistake, but inform them I was still happy with it.
Awesome bar. Made me and my son excited to train w it. Gnurling is more aggressive than an Ohio bar in all the good ways.
Not many reviews on this outside of this website, so I purchased blindly. I am a bar addict and own, or have owned, just about everything - including multiple Ohio power bars, Ohio bars, and Texas power bars.
The defining feature of this bar is the knurling. Everything else is essentially a traditional Texas Power bar (which is a good thing). I would describe the knurling on an original TPB as grabbing a ball of spikes; whereas the all American bar is like grabbing a bar wrapped in sandpaper. Sticky, but not spiky. The knurl is more aggressive than my stainless steel Ohio bar. And I wouldn’t really call it “less” aggressive than my black zinc Ohio power bar. The knurling is different, but just as effective. This bar is marketed as an all-around bar, but I think it’s as good a power bar as it is a CrossFit bar.
I got the black zinc with chrome sleeves for my home gym and couldn't be more pleased! The knurling on this bar is perfect, aggressive enough to keep it secure in your hands but not so sharp that you will hate higher rep sets. The fit and finish are spot on, packaging was perfect, and it arrived really quickly. Now I just need to find a way to justify ordering the original Texas Power Bar and the Deadlift bar!
Very good craftsmanship the knurling is very nice I would recommend this bar for anyone.
